Financially speaking, when one has a disability, medical/therapy bills are their first priority. As a result, recreational activities like socializing with friends, competing on a sports team, and taking trips are unlikely to occur. The CUSR Scholarship Program allows Champaign-Urbana in-district residents with disabilities who need financial assistance the ability to register for programming at half the cost.

Recreation is an important part of every individual’s life. CUSR works to bring recreation to all those who want to play. Monetary donations may be made to the general scholarship fund or a specific program or event. The general scholarship fund benefits individuals and families who need financial support to attend our programs. Scholarships are available to Champaign and Urbana residents for use towards CUSR Youth & Teen, Adult, or Athletic programs as well as special events.
