Summer Youth Program
Join the fun for 2021! Old and new friends make for a great summer. There will be games, crafts, sports, cooking, swimming, field trips, and many more fun times! CUSR Summer Youth Programs offer a safe and structured environment to explore, expand, and enjoy. Both programs are staffed with well-trained, outgoing individuals to make this summer the best ever. A 1:4 staff to participant ratio is maintained as often as possible. The CUSR Summer Youth Programs are open to any individual who has a disability. Single-day morning option will be available based on Summer School schedules. Please call the office for more information.
GOALS: Learn new skills, increase independence, increase peer interaction, socialization, motor functioning and development, and community awareness.

Time: Full Day: 7:30am-5:30pm
Half Day: 12-5:30pm

Sensory Friendly Swimming
Ages 0-22 with parent or guardian
Enjoy family fun and sensory friendly swimming at Sholem Aquatic Center! Time will be reserved for our registered participants to spend time at the pool. Sholem has various special sensory considerations and a water wheelchair. Please bring extra money for concessions.
GOALS: Learn new skills, increase peer interaction, socialization, motor functioning and development.

No Door-to-Door Transportation
Therapeutic Horseback Riding
Dreaming of riding horses and learning how to care for them? At Healing Horse Stables you will learn riding skills through an hour-long lesson including various exercises and activities from a P.A.T.H. (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) certified instructor. You will also have a ground lesson where you will learn how to groom and saddle a horse.
GOALS: Increase in concentration and balance, improved coordination, gross motor skills, improve overall orientation and body awareness, muscle tone, posture, flexibility, increase of knowledge about horses and riding, improved emotion well-being, and forming a connection with a non-judgmental being.

Virtual Program Pass
Get access to three weeks of virtual programming for a minimal fee! All virtual activities will take place through Zoom. We will offer a variety of Athletics, Fitness, Social, Arts and more! Programs will take place 5 times a week – days and times may vary. A full schedule with activity details and any supplies needed will be e-mailed to those registered the Friday before each new week.
