Penguin Project

Ages 16+

Each year, children in The Penguin Project take to the stage to perform a modified version of a well-known Broadway musical. What makes these performances unique, is that each role is filled by young artists with developmental disabilities. They are joined on stage with a “peer mentor”- children the same age without disabilities. Join CUSR at Urbana High School as we watch some of our own participants in this year’s production of Disney’s Mulan, Jr. Please eat dinner prior to program.
