Botany & Garden Tour

Ages: 16+

CUSR is teaming up with the Champaign County Forest Preserve to teach the group about botany – the study of plants. We’ll travel to Lake of the Woods in Mahomet, where we will plant our own plants and learn all about plants, flowers, soil, and more. We will tour the beautiful garden, and stop for dinner on the way home. Admission and dinner are included in the program fee.

GOALS: Increase socialization skills with peers and community members, enhance community awareness, increase knowledge of plants and gardens, and develop dining etiquette.
