The CUSR Advisory Committee was established by the CUSR Program Manager and The CUSR Administrative Team. CUSR Advisory Committee Members serve in an advisory role to the CUSR Team by providing important feedback on our organization’s services and generating ideas that will support CUSR in its growth and longevity as a part of Champaign and Urbana Communities.
Members of the committee are interviewed by CUSR staff before being elected to the committee. Individuals are invited to interview based on their interest in CUSR and willingness to connect and represent CUSR to the community. Ideally, the committee has representatives from a wide range of resources for individuals with disabilities, knowledge of our programs and experience with supporting individuals with disabilities, and/or are the care providers for an individual utilizing CUSR programs currently or in the past. Term lengths for members are 2 or 3 years.
Inquiries about the committee can be sent to Christina Mott at christina.mott@champaignparks.org
