Ages 5-35

Dreaming of riding horses and learning how to care for them? At Healing Horse Stables you will learn riding skills through an hour-long lesson including various exercises and activities from a P.A.T.H. (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) certified instructor. You will also have a ground lesson where you will learn how to groom and saddle a horse.PLEASE NOTE: Transportation will not be available. Participants will need to meet and be picked up from Healing Horse Stables in Homer each day.  Meets on Saturdays. Register by March 20.

ALSO NOTE: Close-toed gym shoes are required and no high heels. Due to safety concerns, you will not be able to participate in improper footwear. Cowboy boots are welcome! Long pants are highly recommended to protect your legs from the saddle and horse. Bring a water bottle each week! There is a weight limit of 250lbs.
