Mustang Unified Volleyball

Unified sports bring together individuals with and without intellectual disabilities to compete on the same team, allowing them to learn to work together and develop a lifelong friendship! Much like traditional volleyball, Unified volleyball will work on team strategy while improving their individual passing, setting, hitting, and serving skills. The team will compete in games against area teams, and the Special Olympics Illinois Volleyball Qualifier. All athletes need to have a valid Special Olympics Medical Application on file with CUSR.

GOALS: Increase gross motor coordination, improve team cooperation skills and gain knowledge of rules of the game and individual volleyball skills.
