Ages 16-35
Learn and experience the art of Taekwondo and also gain overall exposure to the martial arts. CUSR has partnered with Tina and Jeff Newberry of Leaders for Life/Newberry’s Martial Arts in order to provide a comprehensive curriculum. This class will be taught by instructors who have years of experience teaching martial arts to individuals with and without disabilities. This program will offer a balanced physical and mental workout.
NOTE: The fee does not include a uniform, which is required to participate. The cost for a uniform is $45.00 payable to Leaders for Life Martial Arts. Uniform sizes will be determined at the first class. Promotion tests are optional (there is an additional cost), but recommended.

GOALS: Increase in concentration and balance and improved coordination, gross motor skills, endurance and flexibility. The program will also focus on self confidence and self-defense.
